As we start week 4 with our little man so far
we are feeling very good, super positive and extremely blessed. Drew has been more than a good sport during our first three weeks together. He seems to enjoy sleeping at night (sometimes up to 5.5 hours), eats like a champ and really only cries when there is something that we can fix. Despite the good luck we have had so far, we are keenly aware that we have growth spurts, belly aches and some rough patches ahead where we may not be so lucky with his demeanor. We are enjoying what we have now and ready to roll with our new found enjoyment of being Drew's parents.
I will note that there has a been a theme amongst his parents
that we never knew there were THIS many diapers for the little babes. It seems that if you need to do anything around the house you might as well stop by his room and change a diaper while you are in the process of your chore as there is a 97% chance it could stand being replaced. We are still looking for the secret as to how to handle little men when you change their diaper. There has got to be a way to plan for "that moment" when in the process of the diaper replacements the cool air rushes in and we get a little sprinkler on our hands. Any suggestions besides the PP TP?
